HOW TO BOOK A SPOT ( STALL)

  1. Purchase a Stallholders Permit ($20 plus fees) via Eventbrite – ggsale.eventbrite.com.au
    You must Read and agree to the “General Conditions of a Stall holders permits.” when you Purchase your permit.
  2. Email your Public Liability Certificate of currency by email to book@largsbayrotary.org by 4th October 2020
  3.  If you do not have Public Liability insurance, you must purchase insurance for the day at ggsale.eventbrite.com.au.
  4. If You are selling Food ( Food is defined as anything for human consumption) you must have a Food Business Notification number and email the FBN to book@largsbayrotary.com at least 3 weeks before the Giant Garage Sale.  If you do not have a FBN click here  to download and then submit the form to your local council.

 GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PERMIT

  1. The permit holder, where appropriate, shall ensure that it is licensed or registered to carry out the activity authorised by the issuing of this permit.  The permit is not transferable.
  2.  The permit holder shall comply with and give all notices required by any Act of Parliament, Ordinance, Regulation or By-law  relating to the activity, including the Food Act of 2001 and Food Safety Standards.
  3. Stalls and exhibitor’s sites will be allocated by the Rotary Club of Largs Bay Inc and no allocated sites may be altered without the approval of the Rotary Club of Largs Bay.
  4. A Food Business Notification (FBN) number is required to be provided for each food stall.  FBN numbers are issued by the Council where the temporary food stall is garaged.  Permit holders must supply their FBN at least two weeks before the Giant Garage Sale. The Stall who have not supplies a FBN will not be permitted to trade.
  5. The permit holder shall ensure that its site or sites are left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the event.  Failure to do so may result in cleaning fees being charged.
  6. A clear description of the stall must be provided to The Rotary Club of Largs Bay.  Any changes in the products for sale or being displayed must be negotiated with the Club.
  7. The Giant Garage Sale is a fun family event and no discriminating, insulting, offensive or vulgar comments or displays are to be presented.  Stalls that give offence will not be accepted.
  8. All Vehicles must be removed from the venue by 8.45 a.m. except those required for the Garage Sale.
  9. Failure to comply with procedures and guidelines  may result in being removed from the Lefevre Community Centre by authorised Officials.
  10. The Rotary Club of Largs Bay Inc reserves the right not to accept any stall that could be damaging to the spirit
    of the Giant Garage Sale.
  11. No spikes or stakes are to be driven into the ground without specific directions from the Rotary Club of Largs Bay Inc.
  12. Barbeques  are permitted onsite subject to the Barbeques being operated by a competent adult, and the BBQ containing safe: gas temperature controls; hoses; in service gas bottles and gas bottle fitted regulators.  Barbeques shall be located on level ground and sheltered from wind and away from flammable sources.
  13. All umbrellas and Marquees shall be suitably anchored to prevent ‘wind lift off’ and will be in a safe condition with no protruding spines/spikes.
  14. The permit holder agrees to indemnify and to keep indemnified The Rotary Club of Largs Bay Inc, its servants and agents and each of them from and against all actions, costs, claims, charges and expenses whatsoever which may be brought or made or claimed against them or any of them, arising out of any permit holder negligent act or omission in relation to the issuing of the permit.
  15. The Rotary Club of Largs Bay Inc agrees to indemnify and to keep indemnified the Permit Holder, its servants and agents and each of them, from and against all actions, costs, claims, charges and expenses whatsoever which may be brought or made or claimed against them or any of them, arising out of any negligent act or omission that The Rotary Club of Largs Bay Inc has reasonable control in relation to Event Activity.
  16. Each Stallholder must have at least $20,000,000 public liability insurance, and must supply the Rotary Club of Largs Bay with a copy of the relevant the Certificate of Currency.
  17. Stall holders without Public Liability cover must take out the Public Liability insurance for the event, this can be arranged by the Rotary Club of Largs Bay for an additional fee.
